Elite Aviation Refits.
Zero Unnecessary Grounding.
Elevate your cabin aesthetics without the massive lead times, weight penalties, or disruptive demolition of traditional wood veneer replacement. Using world-class architectural films, our master installers install factory-grade wood grain, matte metal, and luxury leather finishes directly to your existing substrates on-site. Beautifully executed, meticulously detailed, and completed in days—not months.
Why to Choose Refinishing with Architectural Films
Unmatched Speed & Zero Unnecessary Grounding
Every day your private jet sits in a hangar for a traditional wood veneer refit, it costs you thousands in lost utility or charter revenue. Traditional sanding, varnishing, and curing (and/or re-fabrication) can ground an aircraft for weeks or months. We can apply premium architectural films directly to stable existing substrates on-site with minimal prep required. Our entire process takes days or weeks—not months—allowing you to get back in the air quickly.
Unobtrusive On-Site Installation
Traditional joinery and wood restorations require extensive demolition, loud machinery, and toxic, foul-smelling solvents that disrupt all other onboard activities. We provide a completely clean, practically-silent installation process. Our master installers work seamlessly alongside your scheduled mechanical or avionics maintenance teams right inside your hangar.
Advanced Architectural Films vs. Heavy Replacement
Our elite refits utilize world-class architectural films (like 3M DI-NOC) that perfectly mimic the texture, depth, and grain of natural exotic woods, brushed metals, and luxury leathers. These wrap materials are purpose-made to provide premium, factory-grade finishes, while being engineered to stand up to everyday wear and tear and still look brand-new years into service. They allow us to create dramatic transformations without the massive cost, environmental waste, or heavy weight penalties of total material replacement.

Steps In The Process
#1 Consultation
Head over to our Contact Us Page to get the ball rolling - make sure to provide us with as much detail about your project as possible. We will contact you back as soon as possible to ask follow-up questions, provide a best-location for you to send us photos of your project, and to provide further information to get the ball rolling.
#2 Pattern Selection & Scheduling
Visit our dedicated materials catalog at www.rmwrapsstore.com to select your architectural finish. We offer a curated collection of world-class architectural films—including ultra-realistic wood grains, matte metals, industrial concretes, and luxury leathers. Note the specific pattern code or name you wish to feature inside your aircraft cabin.
Once your project scope is approved, we will issue a QuickBooks invoice via email. To lock in your installation dates on our master calendar, an initial mobilization down payment is required. This deposit covers all upfront project logistics, including material procurement and travel costs for our team.Once this is complete, we will confirm material availability, order material, & schedule our travel. Pre-prep can begin (learn more).
#3 Installation
Upon arriving on-site, our master installer will execute the architectural refit to our rigorous precision standards.
#4 Walkthrough, Hand-off & Final Invoicing
Following the final, multi-eye visual walkthrough and client sign-off, the remaining balance covering the professional labor costs will be invoiced. Your asset is then instantly ready to return to service with zero curing delays.
Aviation Burn Certifications
3M™ Di-Noc™ does not at this time hold any safety or compliance certifications related to and/or required for aviation applications. Safety/compliance certifications required by law for application in aviation settings are the responsibility of the end-user to acquire and file with the appropriate governing body. RM wraps is simply an installer of these materials - we do not offer testing or filing services. We can apply a piece of the material to a test article while on-location for the main installation portion of your project.
Material Testing Services
Many of our customers have successfully tested their chosen material with this company (https://www.aeroblazelab.com), so we are providing a link to their website for convenience. We are in no way affiliated with this company. Similar services from other companies may be available.
Pre-Installation Requirements
Minimizing down-time and costs, Maximizing value and material life-span
Component Removal & Disassembly
To achieve completely seamless, factory-grade edges, all cabinetry, bulkheads, executive tables, and doors should be removed from the aircraft cabin prior to our arrival. Installing architectural film on these components outside the tight confines of the fuselage allows our master installers to wrap deep around the edges, ensuring absolute precision and preventing any future material lifting - it also allows us to work much faster overall, minimizing your project costs.
Strict Climate Control (70°F – 80°F)
High-performance architectural films are highly sensitive to temperature during the curing and application phases. The hangar or workspace where we are wrapping must be strictly climate-controlled between 70°F and 80°F. Extreme cold makes the material brittle and difficult to manipulate, while extreme heat alters the adhesive tack. A stable environment guarantees a flawless, long-lasting bond.
Unobstructed Access & Workspace Preparation
To ensure a completely dust-free application and honor your tight timeline, the designated staging area must be clean and free of airborne debris. We also require uninterrupted access to the components, staging tables, and reliable power hookups. This allows our team to maintain an efficient, zero-downtime workflow alongside any of your concurrent maintenance crews.
Final On-Site Walkthrough & Sign-Off
We maintain exceptionally high standards, but we also believe in absolute transparency. We require a designated representative (such as a flight director, maintenance manager, or captain) to conduct a thorough, final visual inspection with our team before we officially exit the job site. Having multiple sets of eyes on the finished surfaces ensures every detail meets your exact expectations.

Real-Time Media Documentation & Daily Project Updates
How we document our projects & keep you apprised of project progress
We take immense pride in our craftsmanship and believe in absolute transparency throughout the entire refit process. To keep flight directors, owners, and managers fully informed—especially when managing the project from a remote location—RM wraps provides continuous photographic and video documentation without ever slowing down our on-site installation timeline.
-
The moment components are removed or inspected, we capture high-resolution "before" images. If we discover hidden substrate damage, gouges, or cracks, we document it immediately, execute the necessary repairs, and capture the "after" image once the surface is perfectly prepped and wrapped. We also record time-lapses and live footage of the architectural film being meticulously applied to the subjects.
-
All media captured throughout the day is cataloged and uploaded every evening to a dedicated, secure Google Photos album. We share this private link directly with you and your designated management team so you can monitor our visual day-by-day progress in real-time from anywhere in the world.
-
If the asset owner or project manager is away from the hangar, we can send direct, personalized video updates detailing the exact milestones achieved that day or highlighting any technical surface concerns. We utilize Bonjoro, a personalized video messaging platform, to deliver these updates straight to your inbox, ensuring you stay completely connected to the project.
-
While we take great pride in our precision and love to showcase our high-end transformations on our website and YouTube channel, your privacy is our highest priority. We will strictly request your permission before publishing any media of your asset. If you require absolute confidentiality or have non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) in place, we will completely respect your privacy—no outside media will ever be shared.
