Working on wrapping a work boat using the Architectural Films - Day 9 in Louisiana

Follow along on Day 9 of our boat interior wrap project as we prepare surfaces and apply architectural film for a custom look.

This phase of the project centers on cleaning and detailing the cabinetry. Proper surface preparation is the foundation of any quality vinyl installation, ensuring the material bonds correctly for a long-lasting finish. We use specific tools from The Rag Company to ensure every surface is free of debris before applying 3M Primer 94 to the cabinet door wraps.

Beyond the cleaning process, we are moving forward with the cabinet wrapping itself and finishing the interior trim work. Installing the doorknobs and preparing for new hinges keeps the workflow moving steadily toward the final result. Attention to detail at this stage prevents future lifting and ensures the wrap holds up to the unique environment of a boat
